Volume 15, Issue 2
Summer will soon be here and many of us will be travelling. Think of travel as an opportunity to visit sewing and quilt shops along the way. At home, Shop Hop will be taking place, giving us the opportunity not only to acquire more goodies, but also to support our local vendors upon whom we depend so much. The dog days of summer will give us the incentive to stay home in our air conditioned sewing rooms and complete all those UFOs.

A travel size dental floss makes a great travel sewing kit. You can actually use the floss to reattach a button or replace it with a bobbin of sewing thread. Add a needle. No scissors needed.

Simpsonville Sew It Alls
The Simpsonville ASG Group will not have a June meeting as this is the week of Shop Hop. We will meet July 12,2024 when Anne Clapper will present a program on an Alexander Mc Queen Show she attended. We hope you all will enjoy Shop Hop ! We have often talked about field trips to each others homes to view our sewing rooms. Well, here is a chance to do that virtually. We are asking members to take a virtual tour of their sewing room downloading it on a thumb drive and either mailing it to Linda Patton at 114 Sycamore Dr Mauldin S.C. 29662 or bring it to the July meeting. Then Dave will compile them to view at our August meeting. I look forward to this tour of sewing rooms
